The new collection One-O-One Kids, created by Emanuela Quagliata, a psychoanalyst and specialist in working with children, adolescents and families, is intended for parents and contains 12 single-subject volumes, each dedicated to the stages that mark the life of children: from pregnancy to adolescence. It is written from a psychoanalytical perspective, but in accessible language. The authors, amongst who are the leading child analysts worldwide experts in the subjects dealt with, intend to offer parents a new point of view, in order to observe their relationship with their own children. This will help them understand the meaning of various forms of behaviour, the fears and conflicts of children and adolescents. It also suggests to parents and caregivers different ways of intervening to deal with difficulties, and how to promote change.
